The angel number 555 has had special influence for me and my partner, Annette. When this most recent project was being created, the number appeared frequently in our lives. Most angel number experts agree that 555 signifies big changes, opportunities, and adventures in one’s life—perhaps taking a giant leap of faith.

It seemed only natural then, to entitle this project “Floral 555.” After working with Annette for years creating wonderful outdoor gardens, I was inspired to create a library of lovely images and share them in a manner that would truly show them in all their glory. Our outdoor garden has been digitally transformed. The collection also includes flowers spotted during my wanderings, near and far.

My wish is that you see the simple wonders created in the dirt. No flowers were harmed during this project. It was important to me that they remained alive, in their natural setting, in natural light.

To produce this work, I used a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV digital camera and a Canon Image PROGRAF 4000 digital printer. I also collaborated with Keith Howe, a skilled digital painter and photographer. Together, we were able to create a technique that lovingly embellishes the digital image with subtle brush strokes. The results are magnificent. See for yourself.
